An operating agreement should identify each supported system and its owner. Separate monitoring from responding to alerts, and routine updates from major upgrades. Ask what hours are covered, how incidents are escalated and who approves changes. Backups need defined retention and tested restoration, not just a scheduled job. Record where credentials and documentation are held, and how they are transferred when the arrangement ends. Hosting fees and provider limitations should be visible.
